Anyone have a recipe for salt and chilli chips? The kind you'd get from a Chinese take out.|||1) Heat oil in a large non stick frying pan.
2) Cut potatoes up in small slices then sprinkle salt and chili over it.
3) Place potatoes in frying pan and cook to golden brown.|||blend 1 cup salt and half cup powdered red chile. put in a shaker. sprinkle on deep fried chips while they are draining.
I have never tasted chinese take out chips, but this is how I make chile flavored tortilla chips.
