I am a boarder line intermediate mandarin speaker, but I always wondered how to order chinese over the phone. I think it would be really neat and great for helping me practice my Zhōng wén. Please if you could be very detailed, it wound be GREATLY appreciated!!! :)|||It's pretty much the same as you would in English.

喂 (wéi) is the telephone greeting used in Mandarin.

"I want to order take out" is "我想叫外卖。" (wǒ xiǎng jiào wàimài 。)

So just call and say "喂, 我想叫外卖。"

They will ask you what you want [你要甚麽 (nǐ yào shénme)] and that's pretty much it.
